About Armand Bayou Nature Center

Armand Bayou Nature Center sits on 2500 acres of natural wetlands, forest, prairies, and many attractions.
Visitors can enjoy walking the 5 miles of hiking trails. The Discovery Loop is a family-friendly boardwalk to explore the forest, wetlands, and Prairie Grasslands. You may also visit the Interpretive Building with displays of living reptiles, fish, and amphibians. The John P. McGovern Children’s Discovery Area offers kids the chance to explore and discover nature. Don’t forget to visit the Martyn Farm which offers a glimpse into 1890’s Texas, and the Bison Observation Deck!
