About Houston Fire Museum

The Houston Fire Museum is a non-profit organization established in 1980. It preserves the heritage of firefighting services in Houston and encourages civic engagement by sharing stories of the people and events that have shaped the communities. You can enjoy this museum with the entire family! Explore the many educational resources and activities, programs, public events, and changing exhibits and learn more about the history of Houston’s fire service. Get ready to learn about the importance of fire and life safety!
Museum admission is free for HFM members.
