West University Branch Library is a branch of the Harris County Public Library and it provides storytimes for kids ages birth to preschool, and also a book club for adults. The West University Branch Library features computer booking stations, photocopiers, print stations, scanners, self check-out machines, and more
It originally opened in 1942, and it was moved to a temporary home during World War II. In 1963, the library moved into a new 6,1000 square foot facility which is its current location.
