This summer, kids will engage in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) activities while learning about medical science and the human body.

Campers will take part in health-themed interactive experiences and explore all that The Health Museum has to offer.

This summer program consists of three 30-minute rotations, with a maximum of 20 people per group (60 total).

The stations include a visit to the Discovery Room, a self-guided scavenger hunt on one of the many trails, and an adventure in the Nature Playscape.

Family Nature Nights combine crafts with guided nature walks and live animal presentations for the whole family!

The event will include themed paper and food crafts, a brief guided nature walk in the park, and an engaging, interactive presentation by Head Naturalist Eric Duran with live animals and specimens.

Each day, campers ages 10-12 will examine a different set of warbirds – observers, trainers, dive bombers, fighters, and heavy bombers – up close to see how differences in technology meant life or death on the battlefield, and learn about the pilots and crew that relied on their machine to get the job done.

Let your child’s creativity shine by enrolling them in this exciting clay-making camp!

Throughout the course of the program, children will have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of clay types, including Model Magic® and air-dry clay. With different tools and techniques, they will learn how to create a range of objects, from animals and castles to bowls and more.

In this 3-day camp, kids ages 10-12 will cross the thin line from air to space!

Campers will see how astronauts lived in the shuttle cabin as they explore NASA’s crew cabin trainer, inspect the flight simulator that trained all the shuttle pilots, and learn how to fly from outer space to a thin runway.

Scouts will have an enriched experience in these overnights that teaches young girls about the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics involved with space exploration.

In this girl-centric camp, kids ages 10-12 will retrace the steps of historic women in aviation – from Queen Bess wowing the crowds in the 1920s, the service of WASPs during the war, and the spirit of Amelia Earhart.
